Montana State University Montana State University is the cornerstone of Bozeman’s Booming economy. Established in 1893, MSU has granted over 91,312 degrees in it’s 114 year history. With a total enrollment of 12,338 students in the fall semester of 2006, MSU causes a substantial impact on Bozeman’s local economy and community atmosphere. MSU enrollment is a mixture of full time and part time students. In 2006, 78% of their academic body were full time students, the remaining 22% are part time students. Bozeman Public Schools Bozeman Public Schools have continued to exceed education requirements due to the support of our community through programs and funding. The No Child Left Behind Report Card is a strong indication of the support our schools receive. Our students are leading the nation with our reading and math scores, therefore causing the Bozeman Public School System to consistently be awarded as a National School of Excellence. Additional Programs As our community expands, so do our educational opportunities. Bozeman boasts a world class Bozeman Symphony. The Museum of the Rockies is on the cutting edge of dinosaur research, thanks to Jack Horner and his team, even finding new species in our area!
